Tomorrow Breathe Magazine‘s June issue will start hitting newsstands across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic! Hooray! I’m very excited about this issue, because I feel like this is the strongest issue of Breathe since I started as editor (my first issue as editor was the January/February 2012 issue). I think that about every issue that comes out, but that is probably good, right? It just keeps getting better. Greatness is on the horizon.

The art team and I both agreed that this issue feels really good. It looks good. It reads well. It feels cohesive. Art and word complement each other. Our cover image and interior food shots were all done by Breathe’s senior designer, Amanda. And I have to say, she did a dang good job! Talk about a fun photoshoot. Sandwich ingredients and products from our female food entrepreneur story were sampled up in my office. Nom!

We are now hard at work with the July/August issue, an issue I feel equally as good about. Very excited for what is in store for Breathe through the rest of 2012 and onward. Breathe is looking and feeling mighty fine! Read the issue and let me know what you think! Cheers, Marissa
